Remote, one of the leading global HR platforms, has recently partnered with Mosey to further streamline parts of US compliance.
We’ve built this update with one goal in mind: to make compliance less about guesswork and more about clear, actionable guidance.

What’s New
We’ve rebuilt the Mosey API to make compliance simpler, more intuitive, and deeply aligned with the needs of developers and end-users. Here’s what’s new:
1. Introducing Handbooks
Employee handbooks are a new resource type in the API that lets users build a 50 state compliant handbook and collect signatures within a hosted Mosey session.
Users can quickly understand their obligations, track published policies, and ensure alignment with legal requirements—all without navigating complex documentation.
2. More Pre-built Components
We’ve added more hosted sessions that utilize pre-built components without additional engineering work.
- Accounts: See all tax accounts connected to Mosey including key tax information and access to shared logins.
- Documents: View and download documents generated during registration and filings.
- Multiple tasks: Resolve multiple compliance tasks in one session.
2. More Guidance
A new type of task was added that ensures users understand exactly what actions they need to take. When resolved, these steps eliminate confusion and clarify responsibilities.
Users no longer need to double check if a task is relevant to them—they get direct, actionable direction to stay on track with compliance.
4. Faster, Simpler, User Flows
- Faster Response Times: The task management endpoints now load faster, improving user experience.
- Simplified Workflows: Merged legacy endpoints (e.g., /List Tasks for Location/) now use a unified structure with region-based filtering.
- Partial Signup: People are busy and your users might have been interrupted right in the middle of enrolling in the Mosey API. Now users can come back and complete connecting their payroll to Mosey later.
- Clearer Status Updates: The status update endpoint now returns any new compliance tasks that were triggered making it easy to design user flows to take action immediately.
